Business Intelligence Architecture

Diagram of Business Intelligence Architecture

  • Let's know first what business intelligence is used for. In business intelligence, the data of the last four to five years of a company is analyzed. From that data, it can be seen that in which session the sale of your company's product increased, which product was liked by the people. It is seen what is the mentality of the people, what is their feedback about the company and therefore what decision should be taken so that our company grows in the future, what decision should be taken so that the company or that organization achieves its goals
  • In business intelligence, a company compares with the highest companies working in its field, which strategies are used by that company, which technology is used by the company and checks which decisions were made to reach the level of that company, due to which our company can make its impact in the market.

  • When you go into the shop which is nearby, there are many products in this shop you have to buy, like toothpaste, so you can talk with the shopkeeper about buying toothpaste, then the shopkeeper will give you, but in the big sale market There are big shops like Dmart , Woodland, Big Mart, and Big Bazaar present in your city, but there is no helper present to help you with product finding . If you go into a big bazar, every product like skin care or eating products is placed in a very specific manner, so you can easily find which product you want to buy and where it is located. Business intelligence also works like that. There are a large number of documents present for any company or organization, so with the help of business intelligence row data, you can analyse them. The BI tool removes unwanted data and useful data we can store in our system. On the basis of this data, we can predict whether future product sales will increase or decrease and which decision you have to take to achieve your company's or organization's goal.

2)Business intelligence features

  • The right business understanding
  • Right information
  • Right answers
  • At the appropriate time,

3) What methods are employed in business intelligence?

  • Data Mining:-Data mining means extracting data from large data sets and presenting meaningful data from them.
  • Data preparation:-Data preparation means organising a large data set in such a way that when we need specific data, that specific data is available. It should appear immediately after you search and should aid in your analysis.
  • Reporting:- Reporting means showing the analysed data of the company in a way and accordingly taking a decision which will achieve the goal decided by the company.

  • Benchmarketing :-Bench marketing means collecting all the historical data of a company and, if it is a soap company, then seeing which company's product is selling the most in that soap industry, comparing that company with your company, and checking that your company is What is behind the things is what strategies are used and what decisions are taken. Our company will grow in the future.
    • Internal bench marketing :- Internal bench marketing means that a company has many branches, like one branch is in Hyderabad, another is in Bangalore, and the third is in Chennai. Then the comparison of one of the branches with other branches will check which strategies are used by that branch and which ones should be used due to which our branch will lie at the top of that company.
    • Industrial bench marketing means comparing a company with its competitor in that particular area to see if it is selling at the top of the market in the current situation.

By checking which tactics will be used, your company will be at the top of the market.

  • Descriptive analysis :- Descriptive analysis means collecting historical data about a company and presenting it in a structured manner in a way that the user can easily understand.
  • Statistical analysis:- collecting the result from descriptive analysis  showing in the statistical way like  historical data of a company through the medium of graphs and histograms. The user should understand it well. He should know that in which session the company's sales decreased and when it increased. The graph should be shown with the help of mean, mode, median, average, and to display properly.

Analytical methods are divided into four ways.
1) Descriptive analytics method
2) diagnostic analytics method
3) predictive analytics methods
4) Prescriptive analytical methods

Business intelligence today's perspective

BI analytics method
BI analytics method

1st methods is
1.)Descriptive analytics : We prepare a description by verifying the complete data till date.Let us understand, according to the example, how a summary of a book is given in a descriptive method.
(What has happened?)
Whether the company's sales decreased or increased, whether the customer liked their product or not, we do the work of seeing how many customers returned the product in descriptive analytical methods, while we do the work of seeing what happened in a company in descriptive analytical methods.

tools.

Microsoft Excel
Tableau
Qlick view
Power BI
SQL

2.)Diagnostic :-In the diagnostic method, all the data from the descriptive method is taken and it is first seen that if the customer returns the product, what is the reason behind it?
(What it happened?) Second,
That is, what kinds of customers are there who have returned more products?

 Tools:-

Python
SAS
SPSS
R-studio

3.)Predictive :-Based on statistical data and machine learning model
(What could happen?)
To find out what is going to happen in the future, in which month the sale is

going to increase, in which month the sale is going to decrease, and which type of customer is going to stop taking your service.

Tools:-

R-studio
Python
SAS
PASS
Alteryx

Prescriptive method: In this case, a deep learning model is used to determine what decision should be made in the future.due to which our particular company will grow and can achieve its set goals.
You can, for example, use YouTube.

Tools :-
PyTorch
Tencer Flow
Cloud Platform
Python
Spark.
