1)Basic Introduction
Types of operating systems
- Batch
- Multiprogramming :-
- Multiprogramming with the goal of storing as many processes as feasible in RAM.
- That was the idea.
- Let's look at some examples to help us understand this notion.
- Assume there are ten pupils in a class, and each of them is given five to five questions to answer. The teacher will then walk around to each student and determine whether or not his responses to all five questions are valid.
- Sir will not proceed to the next student until each student's answer is examined to see if it is correct or not. The task will be assigned to the other student. The same idea is used in multiprogramming. The CPU sequentially listens for and executes processes P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, and P6. P3 is then executed by P2. The basic objective of multiprogramming is to run numerous processes at the same time.
- Multi-Tasking :-
- In multitasking programming, multitasking is performed. You have to see multiprogramming, in which one task is done at a time and after it is executed, another process is executed.
- If one process is running in multi tasking and there is a need to execute another process in the middle, it is possible in multi tasking. Multi tasking is used to execute another process before one process completes

- Random access
- Linked access
- There are several different types of hardware in computers, such as the CPU, input/output device, and RAM. What would have happened if there had been no operating systems (interface) between the machine and the user?
- Because it would have become hardware access, if we wanted to work with the computer, we would have to develop a programme every time we wanted to access the hardware in the computer.
- Let us illustrate with an example. To print an image or take a screen shot, we simply press the print button.
- However, if there is no interface between the user and the computer, we must develop a programme to print, which will execute the print function and access the printer.
- What does the operating system do? What is its functionality?
- process management:- process management and storage management, we run the Wats app, run Facebook, or play PubG or Freefire games. Now, as the Wats app is a 35 MB app and PubG is a 700+ MB app, we often use only one app. When running, the operating system works in such a way that the wats app does not allow it to work beyond its limit and manages everyone to work according to their given space. In this, CPU scheduling algorithms are used.
- Storage management:-When you open the file manager on your mobile, you will see different types of folders: download, WhatsApp download, Instagram, and camera. If we don't create this folder, then it is the hand of the operating system behind how they are created automatically. The Android operating system accesses the hard disc and manages the things that have been downloaded in its file manager according to management.
- security management :- The operating system has a security management feature. When we open the computer or laptop, we are asked for a password because someone else has opened the laptop or computer and would have hacked us with the laptop or computer. We generally see that laptops and computers have Microsoft Windows 8, 9, 10, and 11 operating systems. These operating systems have different functionalities such as storage management, security management, memory management, and process management.

Dear friends, Welcome to my website, classmate2022. My name is Harshad Nichat and I am also studying in the 3rd year AI branch A section at G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur.
I want to tell you that all the previous year's question papers for the first, second, and third years of G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur have been uploaded. My only purpose behind creating this website or behind uploading the paper is so that everyone can get previous year question papers because I was in 1st year too and I also wanted the paper because, after seeing the previous year question papers, we know the background of that question paper or what type of paper it is. Thus, it helps to know what types of questions will come, and thus your end of semester exam results are good. Another thing is that some questions from previous year's question papers are repeated in your exam, so it is necessary to get previous year's question papers. I am not getting any profit if I do paper work. I am doing paper work only because my hobby is helping others and I am doing it.
If you are also willing to help me, then give me your feedback. How do you like this site? Tell us about what else needs to be implemented in and share the link to this site with your friends and in your group so that everyone can get the previous year's questions paper. Get the papers and, if possible,
send me your CAE-1 & 2 END SEM question papers, which will help the students who will take admission next year.
