previous year question papers are given at the bottom of this page
Components in computer network :
- Hub
- Switch
- Rauter
- Modem
Hub : Hubs are central devices that divide a network connection across numerous devices.
router :- router is the equipment that links the LAN to the internet. The router is mostly used to link various networks together or to connect multiple computers to the internet.
Switch :- switch is a networking tool that collects all the connected devices to send data to another device. A switch is preferable to a hub because it prevents message broadcasting throughout the network.
Modem :- The modem uses the phone line already in place to connect the computer to the internet.
computer network types
There are four types of computer networks.
- LAN ->Local Area Network
- PAN -> Personal Area Network
- MAN -> Metropolitan Area Network
- WAN -> Wide Area Network
LAN :- A local area network (LAN) is a collection of computer in a constrained space, like an office or building.
WAN :- A wide-area network (WAN) is a form of computer network that links computers over the world with long distance.
MAN :- The collection of local area networks to form a metropolitan area network. The MAN network is used in the city.
PAN:- A network that is set up within a single person, often within a 10 metre radius, is called a personal area network.
Types of network topology
There are four types of network topology
- Ring topology
- Star topology
- Bus topology
- Mesh topology
Bus topology :- All of the devices in the bus topology are linked together by a single cable .
We only need a few cables, and we can easily add new devices without causing any disruption.
Ring topology :- Ring topology is the same as bus topology, but in the ring topology, ends are connected with each other.
Star topology :- A network configuration known as a "star topology" involves connecting all devices to a single central hub.
Mesh topology :- A network configuration known as a mesh topology involves connecting every computer and network device to one another.
Saven layer of OSI Model
Application Layer :-
Presentation Layer :- This layer chooses the file format that is used when data is transferred between connected computers.
Session Layer: Enables the establishment, use, and disconnection of a session—a connection—between two applications. gives programmes the name recognition and other features, including security, that they require to communicate over the network.
Transport Layer:-It ensures that data is transmitted without loss, duplication, or corruption and in the correct order. Additionally, this layer repackages data by breaking up large messages into numerous smaller ones before transmitting them, then repackaging the smaller.
Network Layer: This layer is in charge of translating logical addresses and names into physical addresses and addressing messages and data to ensure that they are sent to the right places. The task of determining a path falls under this layer as well.
reaching the target machine across the network.
Data-Link Layer :- receives data frames or messages from the Network.
They are actually transmitted across layer and. This layer is displayed on the receiving computer
receives incoming data and transmits it to the network layer for processing.
Data is delivered between the two computers without error thanks to the Data-Link Layer.
with the help of the physical layer.
Physical Layer: Manages the actual data flow across the network wire. It describes the employed connector types, as well as the electrical signals, line statuses, and data encoding. 10BaseT is one example.
TCP/IP Model
Bandwidth :-
Let's understand bandwidth. Let's take an example. You must have seen a pipe. Consider that there is a pipe with a radius of 5 cm and not a pipe with a radius of 10 cm. The same bucket is placed under both the pipes and if water is falling from that pipe, see which one will fill the bucket. It will fill the bucket from which water is falling from a pipe with a radius of 10 cm. If the radius of the pipe is greater, when we send data from the sender to the receiver, the data goes to the receiver through the communication channel, while the data goes to the receiver through the communication channel. The higher the bandwidth of the communication channel, the faster it reaches the data receiver. Now you are seeing that 2G and then 3G/4G/5G technology are being upgraded. When there was 2G, it used to take a lot of time. It used to take 2 hours to download a movie. Now it takes 10 minutes. Why is this so? Because now that 4G/5G mobile and SIM cards are available, the more bandwidth, the faster. The data reaches the receiverAmplitude:-

Dear friends, Welcome to my website, classmate2022. My name is Harshad Nichat and I am also studying in the 3rd year AI branch A section at G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur.
I want to tell you that all the previous year's question papers for the first, second, and third years of G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur have been uploaded. My only purpose behind creating this website or behind uploading the paper is so that everyone can get previous year question papers because I was in 1st year too and I also wanted the paper because, after seeing the previous year question papers, we know the background of that question paper or what type of paper it is. Thus, it helps to know what types of questions will come, and thus your end of semester exam results are good. Another thing is that some questions from previous year's question papers are repeated in your exam, so it is necessary to get previous year's question papers. I am not getting any profit if I do paper work. I am doing paper work only because my hobby is helping others and I am doing it.
If you are also willing to help me, then give me your feedback. How do you like this site? Tell us about what else needs to be implemented in and share the link to this site with your friends and in your group so that everyone can get the previous year's questions paper. Get the papers and, if possible,
send me your CAE-1 & 2 END SEM question papers, which will help the students who will take admission next year.
